It’s time to thank our amazing team, clients, friends and family, and share 11 things we are grateful for, and proud of, as we bid 2021 a bittersweet farewell. Get ready 2022, Hero Teams is coming for you! Did we mention we’re launching an office in the Philippines!?
Having delivered 25+ major software development projects – sending 3000+ emojis along the way – it’s fair to say it’s been a happy 😁, productive 👍 and fulfilling 😅 year for us at Hero Teams despite the global challenges that need no introduction!

Quality-checked. After achieving the gold standard ISO 27001:2013 for security last year, we passed our latest audits with flying colours, with no non-conformances.
Growing the Ukraine team. During the year we steadily recruited a talented crew of Heroes to our team while maintaining the culture and retention rates we are so proud of.
Net-zero. With climate change front and centre on the global stage, we’re pleased to announce that Hero Teams has committed to net zero in partnership with Trace. Learn more.
Hello Hero Teams Philippines! We’re excited to announce our expansion to the Philippines. It’s a new horizon for the business that gives us access to more outstanding talent, greater team diversity and increased capacity.
Summer Party. Celebrating success is central to our values. One of our annual team-building traditions is a BIG Burning Man Summer Party 🔥 This year in Ukraine it was hotter than ever with a beachside party! The team photo above shows off some of the amazing costumes.
Getting cosy with ELMO. Our long partnership with ELMO Software is going from strength to strength as our world-class crew of developers and team leaders embed within their in-house team in the delivery of new solutions.

Hero Hackathons. With tech innovation, many heads are better than one. This year our summer and winter hackathons brought us together to share skills, ideas and fun in the ultimate brainstorm. Here's how it works.
Finding work/life balance. Hitting deadlines and keeping up with technology is never easy. We helped balance things this year with fitness and yoga sessions, in-office massages, Friday pizzas, all-staff training, summer/winter parties, movie nights, table tennis, Foosball, mini basketball, darts and a PlayStation. Flexing our flexibility. On top of the office yoga sessions, our team showed excellent adaptability during the pandemic, barely missing a beat between lockdowns, remote working and ever-changing rules. Well done to everyone!

In breaking news: Top secret preparations are underway for the theme, food and dress code for our Ukraine Winter Party 2022 – it’s going to be huge.
